There is a t-shirt that says "Born in Maine, Living in Exile." I lived in "exile" (actually a very nice place) for 32 years, and returned to Maine in 2005. That's not necessarily what all this is about, just the only title I could think of at the time.

I love these, and I'm sorry to miss it this year. I'll be in the midst of an "Advent Journey to Christmas" which the five...count 'em...five churches in my town are putting on. We process (drive) from one to the other to hear the Christmas story read "progressively" and check out the churches Christmas or Advent decorations. Should be nice, but I will miss St. Olaf!
